I'm not going to look. So far today, I've managed to hang on to my ranking ever since I answered my last question, and if I get passed by dozens of people who answer their questions late, I don't want to know!

I think, I hope, that Mr. Kellley is mathematically secure in first place for the month, and I bow in awe and cheer for his most impressive showing!
Congratulations to everyone on the board for June. This was my first full month and I definitely going to be trying to improve in July.

I finished in 80th at the time of completion. Probably will end up out of the top 100, but not bad overall for my first full month. Had something like six "Music and Musicians" questions in the month, which included way too much pop culture from the '80's and up. I know I got one right (today's, which was something from the '60's), and maybe one other. Does Sploofus keep hitting you with a category that you miss consistently?
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I am currently at 383, so I may not end up in the top 400. I was as high as 34 at one time, before I got my share of Music and Musician questions. I also punted a science question because I remembered the phonics for floem, but not the correct spelling.

BTW, Mr. Sploofus awarded me 5 wager tokens for my birthday present. That's the second best present I've received so far.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

I am afraid to answer my question from today. I don't think that I will finish as high as I did last month, but I think that I will still be in the top 20.

I finished the month with another system screw-up that apparently caused my answer to not be accepted. :(

Due to all the problems I've had I finished 300th-something.

I missed the last question because I didn't know that the Fish River Canyon was in Namibia.

What percentage got it correct? I got timed out last night too. I'll probably end up in the mid 100's.

It was something like 12%

Mr. Sploofus must just have a soft spot for the elderly. He didn't give me jack on my birthday. I never used wager tokens (or even knew what they were for until recently) and now I love them but I only have one left and the weekend's coming up.

Ouch. I missed the first July question.

Not a good start.

I got it right.

Ranked 98th as of this am.

Nowhere near nelly and KT, however.
I am about 25% sure of this.

Ugh. Off to a flying stop for July. Question on a popular movie, but one I have not seen. Would have been an ATA for me from the hotseat.

I did manage #96 for June, last of the BB's in the top 100. We are very well represented in the top 10.

I'm on a laptop in a hotel with a miserable internet connection, so there's no way I'm attempting a question today. Not that it would really make any difference.

I'll just catch up on them when I get home this weekend.

Heck, I've gotten both right so far and I'm in the 2000th range. And everyone else still has to answer.

At the first of the month, I used to wait four or five days to begin answering QoDs. It was fun to see my ranking shoot up (well, most of the time it shot up....).

Now, without the rankings being visible on the same screen, it just won't be quite as fun.

BTW, I played the first of one of their "Tournaments" last night. No fun whatsoever. It may just have been the topic (food, especially fruits and veggies) but I thought the quizzes were at best obscure and at worst, poorly worded and incomprehensible.

After two bunnies so far this month I am 52nd.

I can't see my monthly totals at the top anymore. What up with that?

Courtesy of PSM earlier in this thread:
Go into My Sploofus.

Go into Preferences / Site Settings.

Scroll down to Footer Settings. Check TQOTD or whatever stats you would like to show up.
Log out then in and scroll waaaaaaay down to the bottom of the screen to see your rank. Your points show only on the ranking chart. After you answer, you need to log off and log back in to see your new rank. I got both right this month, and I was still 196. :(

I am in the 600's as of earlier this morning after getting my first two right. I was deliberately slow last night since I was not certain what illness Kylie Minogue had.

Rather than logging in and out, you can just go to settings, hit update preferences (even if you don't change anything) and it will update.

Bad enough that it doesn't automatically update, but not even when you refresh sucks. Whenever I get the error message I could just look up at the top and see if I got it right because my rank changed.

I also don't like that drop down menu being so close to the QOD, I need better cursor management, because I've lost several seconds on that baby so far.
