Please provide a source for that quote.
Here is the original source for that quote:

Sounds like Ocasio-Cortez has gotten Republicans uncomfortable...

Quote:
Over the weekend, the self-described “conservative” writer [WSJ reporter Virginia] Kruta attended a rally in St. Louis at which Ocasio-Cortez stumped for Cori Bush, the woman who aims this week to unseat seven-term incumbent William “Lacy” Clay Jr. in a Democratic primary for Missouri’s 1st congressional district.

Kruta told the Fox & Friends hosts that she went to the rally to “see what the fuss was about” and “why the message was resonating.” Asked why voters might be drawn to a Democratic Socialist message, she added, “They talk about things that everybody wants, especially if you’re a parent. They talk about education for your kids, health care for your kids, the things that you want.” In her article for The Daily Caller, she wrote that she could see “how easy it would be, as someone who has struggled to make ends meet, to accept the idea that a ‘living wage’ was a human right.”

Co-host Ainsley Earhardt wanted to know how this made Kruta feel, “as a conservative,” asking, “Were you angry? Were you more drawn to that?”

“I was mostly uncomfortable, because I was surrounded by a group of people who were talking about how they had gotten involved because they were tired of being angry all the time. It seems like so much effort to be angry about everything, instead of to focus on what you could do to change it.”

She sounds smart enough to get the best of a Wall Street Journal reporter. You may disagree with her platform, but she's outlined a pretty comprehensive list of proposals that obviously are resonating with a lot of people who are tired of Republican guff. She may not be an accomplished public speaker, but she's also a 28-year-old who was working at Trader Joe's a year ago, and smoothness will come with more experience at public speaking.

You have complained time and time again that Democrats don't stand for anything except being anti-Trump (which isn't true), and now when someone does come forward with a platform that's a lot more comprehensive that anything Trump's said in his two years in office, you can't stand that either.

She is clueless about the world. She is a product of liberal indoctrination. "Make America Venezuela!"

Try as I might, I couldn't find the word Venezuela anywhere in my post or the article I cited, other than your manufactured quote.

If you look at her platform, there are many things on it that are already the law, either in some states or in other Westernized democracies. Labeling it socialism is a typical right wing response when they can't come up with any reasonable counterarguments. Some of what's in the platform:

* Immigration justice
* Solidarity with Puerto Rico
* Clean campaign finance
* Curb Wall Street gambling
* Women's rights
* Support seniors
* Criminal justice reform

Lots of radical socialist ideas there. And what's funny is that the more that the right wing publicizes and makes fun of her platform and compares it to Venezuela, the more exposure it gets and the more people like what they hear.
It’s a bizarre dynamic because the people attacking Ocasio-Cortez recognize that her platform does have political appeal (the supposedly “radical” planks, like Medicare-for-all and a federal jobs guarantee, actually poll decently well). But they keep on posting clips of her saying popular things, and then they just call her a “socialist” or grimly wonder who will pay for these plans to educate children and keep them healthy.

This is a product of the suffocating ideological bubble conservative media exist in and help to maintain. People like Stuart Varney and the editorial staff at the Daily Caller are communicating with an audience that, they assume, will understand implicitly that a video clip of Ocasio-Cortez preaching for a living wage and the dignity of everyday life is a damaging, scandalous indictment of her politics. It’s “socialism,” that catch-all epithet that conservative media have spent decades applying to everyone to the left of Mitt Romney, and it merits only mockery and casual dismissal. Sure, they say, what she’s arguing for sounds nice, but it’s ridiculous and disqualifying because … uh … roll that tape again.

The more publicity she gets, the better that is for Democrats' chances this fall, especially when contrasted with people like this guy, who is a typical Republican politician:

It looks like the Republicans are abandoning this race. The RNCC has cancelled its remaining ad buy in the Pittsburgh media market. And that's not because they think Rep. Rothfus is winning. --Bob
