Later in the evening, Littlest Spock told the Dean of Students that Li'l Spock and the RHB were slow dancing, but that there sure wasn't any room for Jesus between them.

Isn't that one of those "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin" theological questions?

Mrs S and I are joking that we need to get her a baseball bat for Valentine's Day so she can repeatedly remind him to "GET A CLUE." Even after a couple of dates and a lot of texting-he seems to be a little slow on the uptake. Not that he reminds me of anybody or anything (LOL)

Just getting into this thread. GW preferred a 2x4 to a bat on BD's male friends. High school boys were just SO clueless. Have fun!

Starting with the latest. The Spocklette (15) is really fond of the latest example of Li'l Spock's cluelessness. The relationship apparently survived the summer-with minimal contact.

We moved him to college last Sunday (August 21). Most kids moved in on Saturday the 20th, but I needed him home to work cattle-however, there was not a crowd moving in Sunday-so it was easy.

The RHB is attending the same college as Li'l Spock-that decision was made for each of them long before they started dating (or whatever they are doing?). She had moved in on Saturday as had another villain in our piece. Berlin is one of Li'l Spock's best friends, however, he has liked RHB for a long,long time. They had both moved in on Saturday.

RHB and Berlin came to the room (about noon) as Mrs. S and the Spocklette and Li'l Spock were setting up stuff and so forth. The RHB made several comments-such as "I am really hungry"-"I haven't eaten yet today"-etc etc. To the Spocklette's lifetime of delight-these comments were going right over Li'l Spock's head. We joked that if they get married, that she has her "Wedding Story."

Finally, Berlin and her went to the dining center to eat and I think the penny dropped that she wanted to eat with him. He could not get rid of us fast enough.

There are several of Li'l Spock's classmates attending the same college and we were very firm that he could not be roommates with any of them the first year. He and Berlin wanted to be and that was before the RHB entered the picture. As things have developed, I am really glad we made that decision, especially with Berlin's unrequited crush on the RHB.
