I know it's hard to see the "golden kids" who have less experience and know less than you do in positions they don't deserve.
Take heart from the tale of my friend, Gary. A man about your age, with daughters about the same age. With a wealth of private-sector and government experience.
Got forced out of his last job by somebody's golden boy. Landed on his feet in a MUCH better opportunity.
I have no doubt that it will work out well.
