A lot of people used the extra bonuses today to clean up and a few people knew some of the songs, but melly puts the two together and grabs high score of the day! Obviously no 2002 points for this one.

I even tried to stay with hits. A couple wags (astro and ed) here that were on my list but didn't make the final cut were Hey There Delilah and Crazy by Gnarls Barkley (it's impossible to get two consecutive lines that don't have crazy in it). I also took mercy on people and dropped Sexyback (yes, really!) and London Bridge.

Sexyback was a late scratch from one of my games also, but not for the same reason. I actually love that song, though I wonder if I'd have recognized it in lyrical form.... it's a great song to tote boxes of detergent to....

lb, I would have definitely done Rock Star because I love it so much but I couldn't remember if you did it last month or I just mentioned it and you responded. Was Photograph a hit? I only know it from being on the cd.

Photograph is definitely a hit around here. It gets played on both the local rock station and the variety station I listen to... plus, it's a Wal~Mart Radio regular (Nickelback must be in the Squiggly's pocket or something....). Oh, and I did use Rock Star, in the Squiggly's tribute to WMR....

Super Bonus: The group that played the horns on that #2 song later formed the group known as MFSB. What did that acronym mean?

Unrelated sidenote: I was going back through my old games earlier today and noticed something interesting. TiV was actually the first one to invoke the name of J.J. Cale on this Bored.... in the response right before you in the game I used "Cocaine" in. He just added it as an addendum to his answer of Clapton, so I didn't notice it, but I thought it was funny I misremembered another part of Bored history.....
