Last night I talked to a friend who lives in South Carolina. She said that they got all excited because the weatherman said they might get snow. Her granddaughter's school even got let out early yesterday-but they didn't get very much, she said it only snowed for 5 minutes!
By contrast-we're still dealing with the deep freeze. Our schools are closed again today. We are supposed to warm? up to 27 degrees tomorrow with 1-4 more inches of snow. The weatherlady on the morning news said that February is going to be just like January-snowy and cold. Yuck.

Well, I just got the call from our district that we will be out for the third straight day over these 3 inches of snow. I was actually hoping that we would work tomorrow.

Tonight I was watching the 6'oclock news and guess what???-we are under yet another "winter weather advisory" tomorrow until Friday at 1 am. The wind will pick up, causing the snow we've got already to drift-and we may get another few inches. I think we've been under one kind of advisory/warning or another for most of this month.
