Dang. I made a bracket but didn't join the group.
Since my bracket is invisible, I'll go ahead and tell you I have a perfect score.

TifaniBrandi isn't playing this year.
Cuz she would win.
Cuz she would win.

Wait a minute, TifaniBrandi would not win. She would take second place after Skoop.

I made a bracket and did join the group. And yet I seem to have gotten booted anyway. Although I will note that my bracket is not perfect anymore. At least 2 losses so far and probably more since I last checked.Ritterskoop wrote:Dang. I made a bracket but didn't join the group.

I'm also excited because Madama Butterfly is on PBS tonight. I've been a very busy girl switching from basektball to opera and back. Maybe, after I'm a famous composer because of the wonderfulness of Guinefort, I will write an opera about basketball.

I asked my mom. She said that even if I did win, I shouldn't expect a prize, because I can't remember exactly how I registered, so I might not be old enough, according to the rules. She also said that I shouldn't expect to get every game right today or during the next round.littlebeast13 wrote:How will ESPN handle it if a dog wins the national contest!?!?!?!?![]()

"But I'm a very lucky girl," I pointed out.
"You're lucky because the more games you get right in the opening round, the more teams you have to root for later on," she said.
If I did win, just to make her crazy, she says, she would ask the newspaper to print my photograph. That would be cooler than any prize! I've never had my picture in the paper before. I am lucky, so it might happen.

If you thought Annie winning the contest would be interesting, how about the potted plant currently at #52? Someone alert mini!

Thank you, Miss Pea. I love basketball. I hate basketball. I am worn out from watching all day yesterday. I fell asleep before the last games were over, and I was surprised that lots of people didn't pass me during the night.peacock2121 wrote:Go Annie!
I will just watch my name drop lower and lower.
Next year, Pitt!
I am not mad at the teams I picked that didn't win, though. I still think Pittsburghers sound like tasty things to eat, and I realize that all the Dukes are mentioned in Mr. Bobjuch's genealogy. (If he had two more feet, he could be a paper dog.)

I could be wrong and I think a Pittsburgher is not a type of hamburger. I think it is something that might not taste so good.AnnieCamaro wrote:Thank you, Miss Pea. I love basketball. I also think Mr Bobjuch is a paper dog already.

I tried to cut and paste the whole chart. I couldn't make it work. Top ten as of today are as follows:wbtravis007 wrote:I haven't been able to get in to see who's ahead and what not.
I'm getting something wrong on the password or member name or something.
Anyway, if somebody would kind of summarize how everybody's doing, I'd appreciate it.
1 (tie) -- Annie and Jim362 at 470 points (96.3 percentile)
3 -- Greyhound Dude, 460 (93.2)
4 -- (tie) Ace and PresidentSkipperObama, 450 (86.5)
6 -- (tie) MarkBarrett, Bough, ShamelessWeasel, and Nitrah'sBelovedSon, 440 (79.6)
10 -- Fishie, 430 (70.5)
I didn't try to include possible points remaining, which are widely varied.

Yes, indeed, but if those things do not happen, somebody else will win. (It won't be me, because I'm already behind Mr. MarkB, and he picked all the same things I did at the end.)TheCalvinator24 wrote:IIDTMC, if Carolina beats UCLA in the Final, aj wins going away, and I finish in 3rd behind him and Greyhound Dude
