Yeah, I read some more about it, too.

Some cable companies are going to continue to transmit some form of "basic" in analog which would include at least the "broadcast" channels but may not much else but others are going to distribute some sort of box.

It looks like the cable company has some options so the main thing is going to be to check with your cable company.
