I also use a 4 inch memory foam topper - king size on Overstock.com is really reasonable. I would have to check, but I would say less than $200.

I heard that Michael Jackson's bedroom furniture is up for auction soon. Maybe you should check it out. :)

I've loved every bed I've gotten from the W Store, and you can usually find 30-40% discount promo codes online.

They make the same beds as at the Westin hotels. Very nice.

The hotels I've been in in the last year have been Fairfield Inn, La Quintas (divey and okay) and Marriotts and they all had fabulous beds, which astounded me. Real ones with lots of squishy pillows and a semi-firm mattress. No air.

Westin beds aren't Sleep Number. They are magical beds of awesomeness. My Jeopardy! audition was at the Indy Westin. I splurged for a momcation and stayed there. (Good thing b/c the weather was horrible the next day, and I would have looked like hell if I had had to walk from another hotel.) I attribute my good fortune at the audition in part to the good night's rest on the Westin bed.

I do like Westin's beds. I used to stay at their hotel in Nashville when I was passing though town until it closed.
