Thanks, Everybody!

Great day so far, and SteelersFan and I are headed out to dinner as soon as he gets home.

I've been pleasing myself and just watched Djokovic defeat Nadal for the men's U.S. Open Tennis Chamionship. I watched Williams lose yesterday, darn.

More later, SteelersFan just got home.

I can't remember if you're one of the Trek fans around here, but I'll go ahead and put this here.

I got the perfect card with Spock and Kirk on the front.

Kirk says: "Analysis, Spock: If all the candles on that cake were to be lit simultaneously. . ."

On the inside, Spock's voice says: "Annihilation, Jim. Total annihilation."

BTW, I think you should be careful of the squirrel portrayed in Vandal's cake. The critter seemed to be carrying a large quantity of pharmaceutical capsules, perhaps generic.
I'm still a bit stupefied by Vandal's rodent. Don't worry, I won't touch those pharmaceuticals with a 10-foot pole.

my butt! I've had a killer headache all day and haven't left the sofa since I got home about noon today. Hope you had a good birthday!
