Today the Coast Guard has arrived, much to the Long-Sideburned Bad Guy's consternation.
I wonder how long Mr. Trail will be "dead".

This being the first Mark Trail strips I've seen, the thing that leaps out at me is that the artist (I use the term loosely) doesn't draw hands very well. In the 2/15 strip, Mark is making a defensive move, but the palm of his right hand looks like it should be the back of his left hand.
Hands are notoriously hard to draw well. I attended a tour in some museum where the guide mentioned that one way to judge an artist is by how well s/he draws hands. The guide did say, though, that artists who know they aren't good at drawing hands will find ways of not showing hands in their work.
Clearly, this guy never took the tour.

He doesn't know much about waves, either. Wouldn't waves tend to push the boat towards shore, while the current (depending on its direction) might push it out to sea?nitrah55 wrote:This being the first Mark Trail strips I've seen, the thing that leaps out at me is that the artist (I use the term loosely) doesn't draw hands very well. That may be a failing of Mark Trail Bad Guy, rather than the artist. MTBG can't be very smart, or Mark wouldn't be able to get the better of him every single time!Estonut wrote:
