Funny thing is, that looks an awful lot like my actual guitar that I've had since I was 12 (a Gibson SG, to be exact).

How do I get that for MY avatar??
If you've had it for that long, then I assumed it's one of the originals from the '50's? That's probably worth huge bank if you haven't modified it (of course you know that). But I understand that it doesn't matter. My brother has a 72 Telly Thinline that my dad bought new and he won't part with it for anything.

Now I want to go through old photos and find some of my Jazz. Sadly, I did have to part with that when I fell upon hard times years ago (along with my pre-CBS brain). They're probably Polaroids, though.

Yeah, yeah, you may have cool pics, but I actually lived in South Park!

It's a '69. It's seen better days, to be sure (5 bands put a lot of wear and tear on it), so its value is not what it coulde be. I can't play it anymore (hands are too messed up by the Dystrophy for me to have the dexterity I need) so I s'pose I should see what I could get for it, but I can't seem to find the will to part with it.

It amazed me by surviving the flood. I s'pose I shouldn't have been so surprised, considering how much punishment it's taken over the years. Its resiliency is almost as impressive as Miss Annie Camaro's!

ALMOST.

Where's the site you can go to create yourself as a South park character?

Dunno. Skoop did it for me. Try Comedy Central's site. I'd bet that's where it is.

I googled up this German site: http://www.sp-studio.de/

It's fun to play with, but I haven't yet managed to save my own creation.

Never mind. Silver's right.

Yes, I did read the directions on the site. I'm guessing it all works better with a Mac. I cannot seem to find a Print button. (I do have a "print screen" button, but I'm supposing that's not what I need. My bright idea to actually print the entire screen, cut out the pertinent part of the page, and scan and save that didn't work. It started printing many pages with each separate element.)

I use a utility on the Mac called Grab, which allows you to capture a window or screen. Then I open it in Preview (a Mac version of Adobe Acrobat), crop and save as a jpeg.

The instructions for Windows involve a PrintScreen button on your keyboard, which if you don't have one, would suck. If you do PrintScreen, or maybe ALT-PrintScreen, you have copied onto your clipboard a picture you should be able to paste into Word, or whatever.

Here's free Windows screen grab software (I just googled it; have no idea if it works well):

That's where I've been doing it, though I choose English instead of German. German would be more fun, though.

I didn't answer earlier because we were watching Affair to Remember.

Print Screen is the button that you need. I have an HP computer and it worked for me.

OK, somebody tell me how to post in a different color font.

I've tried for the past 15 minutes. I tried clicking on the font color box, I tried typing in the bracket, color, text, bracket, slash manually, you name it, nothing worked.

What am I doing wrong? It's gotta be something simple I'm leaving out or doing backwards. Thanks!

Dang! I don't know why the little drop down box won't work. I kept putting the color I wanted in the last box, not the word "color". Sheesh!

Thank you!
