And why didn't Sprots hit up Judge Judy for one of those schnazzy lace collars? I'm sure she's got plenty of spares.

Hmm - that made me realize neither of our two female judges wear one either. Neither do the guys, btw. Of course, none of them wear a number 7 football jersey, either. At least, not on the bench.

We used to have a rather petite female judge that wore one after she took some sort of image class and learned that she needed a collar of some sort, a more tailored robe (without the puffy sleeves and cording) and a shorter chair so she wouldn't be just a face swallowed up in a sea of black. She felt that it would make people take her more seriously (they didn't). Seems to me that she wore a lace one, but it wasn't as frilly as JJ's. Then again, this was before anybody outside of Manhattan Family Court had ever heard of Judge Judy.....
I think there was at least one other female judge who wore a collar but I can't remember if it was a dickey or just her blouse or dress collar and she folded it over.

The gray squirrel has been spotted in North Carolina, far from Colorado or NM. I don't know about the red one.
