Well, there's always the countdown..... though she's got serious competition now from Facelick Matias.....

Are we going to be able to vote in this year's countdown?

Matias might be able to sweep the honors. I'm still partial to Cool Dude Matias and his crew.

I think we vote as we go along by our reactions to the current avatar, Marley. Matias always seems to get a pretty good reaction, which helped propel Snow Matias to the top last year. If there is no reaction to a particular avatar, it seems to be consigned quickly to oblivion. I should have said earlier how much i liked Crawlspace Fan. The spots on her fur, the tiny candle, the expression! on her face -- it was perfect.

I agree about CoolDudeMatias and Crew -- it would astonish me if that one didn't make the Top Ten.

Today on the internet i saw a cartoon of a red squirrel licking jam off the face of a happy child and I laughed, and I could not explain the humor to anyone within one hundred miles.

Doesn't Bob Juch live closer than that, now?
