That's how I feel and, hey, I'm sure some people felt similarly about my personality on any of my game show activities.
You and Chris really have quite a bit in common. Both of you have a passion for game shows and have managed to get on more than one major game show before hitting the age of 21. I think that's great. And both of you dream of one day hosting a game show.

The two of you have also done it your own ways with your distinctive personalities. I think the game show world needs some contestants like you and some like Chris. I look forward to seeing both of you continue to make your marks in the game show world.

I'm sorry I judged him without knowing him, but for me, personally?

I can't get worked up over $15,000...or even $25,000.

My personal expectations are higher.

Since you were on other gameshow message boards, I felt pretty strongly that you were
or would be a member here sooner or later.

Your over the top play wasn't all that entertaining to me, but that's just me. To each his own.
It was your comment over on the other board that bothered me the most and I quote:

"After the taping, my producer told me the consensus in the control room was that I was one of the best contestants they have ever had on the show."

I'm old enough to be your grandmother (gulp) but I can tell you this - I love Ben Franklin quotes
and he has a great one:

"humility makes great men twice honorable." I won't give you any more motherly advice, but that's my two cents worth today anyway. :)

Enjoy your winnings and good luck in your future.

Maybe they did, but that doesn't mean you have to repeat it to everyone. I can see telling
you family members maybe but otherwise, I would advise keeping that info to myself. jmho,

I have to disagree with this. I understand that it can be considered immodest. However, a number of us are still actively trying to get on the show, and for us, any information regarding what the current producers like is helpful. --Bob

Yeah, and it really wasn't. It was just exciting to hear, is all.

But great advice. Point fully taken.

Considering that the questions and LLs are now designed to give mostly winners in this range...of course they're going to want lots of people excited to win such an amount.

PS Christian- this comment is not a slight against you- as Bob pointed out when I made my comment about having higher expectations, if I was 20, $15K would seem like a lot of money.

But I'm 42 with two kids- one almost ready to go to college. $15K looks a lot smaller to me.

Chad1m: "To me, he was more annoying than the actor-wannabes they cast on Catch 21."

Hey- wait a minute! I resemble that remark!!

As I'm not an actor-wannabe, but a fairly laidback soccer mom type, I certainly assume you weren't referring to me with that comment, bub...!

Well, he probably never saw my Catch 21 episode...

...oh yeah, hold on- it was actually Chad who did me a favor and burned it on disks for me, mailed them to my home, and then threw it on Youtube for me. I guess he did see it.

Ok! So maybe I screamed a little when I wasthisclose to winning the jackpot! Kill me!!

As I said before, Chris... despite all of the haters, both me and my mom thought you were great. Even your brother looks just as awesome as you do! I get the feeling that you two are a lot of fun to hang around, and since you live together (I assume that because of the rent comment), there's probably never a dull moment at your place.

I was thinking the same thing.

I found Christian's enthusiasm a little over the top for my tastes.

That doesn't mean I hate Christian.

I don't believe heels meant "haters" in the way that anyone here "hates" Christian. Haters is a term used nowadays to denote someone who may be jealous of someone and in response comes across as overly critical. Maybe the term is tossed around a little loosely but you can she what she means.
