He said it's time to grow up and retire from the Air Force.

My wife is buying me a closet full of 'big boy' clothes as she calls them for when I take off the flight suit and work like 'normal' folks. I'll become one of the 'gray men in a gray suit' at a intelligence agency.

Wow, congratulations on the new job! I'm sure you'll be amazed at what life is like on the outside.

Santa is going to help me complete my old Elton John (up through Captain Fantastic) collection by giving me Madman Across the Water, Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player, and Caribou. Oh, and replace my lost Brenda Russel and Basia CDs.

brother Santa is bringing a gift card for a very nice clothing store, to be applied to some new duds for the cruise in March.

Santa is bringing the whining brat some clothes from Old Navy, and some gift cards for electronics.

Could end up being a coal visit tho, if he keeps up the way he's going today.

My kids will be getting clothes mainly, a few small 'toys' for my youngest daughter (8 year old), I wanted to purchase them a Wii since they're such good kids, but my wife overuled me on that one (damn it!). Originally we were going to get the youngest Hannah Montana concert tickets, but that debacle has turned into a class-action lawsuit...

For my wife I purchased a couple of small items small items from Macy*s and some Tinkerbell stuff, as it is a favorite of hers. And i'm thinking about also adding the new KT Tunstall CD for her.

I'm getting the following: (and I know this because I was the one who ordered them) the new Steve Earle, Feist, Wilco & Robert Plant/Alison Krauss albums (I had about 4 more on my list when I realized that it was getting out of hand. And I believe that the kids are giving me a new cordless screwdriver.

No matter what we all get, remember it's a wonderful day, especially if your lucky enough to be with people you love and who love you. Kind of like being here. :D
