I already told you how to fix that - no litter box is necessary if you train them right from the beginning.

and install the cat door.

I am not tearing up my doors to install a cat door. I am not handy.....

He would have to learn to use the toilet.... and then keep the seat UP!

They live for like 258 years. Be ready for commitment if you get a cat.

Mine hated being cooped up indoors...but I didn't have a choice (he was always an indoor cat)...so instead of chasing birds, he would attack me at 4 am. It was fabulous.

We had outside cats growing up. Never really had an inside cat before, but I know they love jumping up in the bed when you're trying to sleep....

BTW, this all started because there was an abandonded cat lurking outside the Bingo hall last night. I spent a little time petting it, and I just had to bring that up in chat last night. I'm not really considering a cat right now, but I sure do have a lot of people wanting me to get one now.....

lb13
My take on it is, if you're considering an outdoor cat...why bother? You don't have a pet. Leave some food out for the racoons and try to pet them now and again. They're about as friendly as most cats.

If you're considering an indoor cat...don't.

That's why you need two cats! :)
But if there were two, they could have killed me, hid the murder weapon and buried the body...

They are good at sucking the breath out of you while you sleep. No murder weapon needed.....

Nah. They would've just ate you when the kibble ran out.
And for all my sarcastic comments, that one is actually true! Yuck.

I would not consider an outdoor cat. We had outdoor cats growing up because my Mom did not like cats, and rarely let them in the house.....

I still have my two squirrels as outside pets who provide me with plenty of entertainment while I'm sitting here every morning....

And speaking of the avatar, are you planning to get one of those weird dwarf cats that are only 1/6 of the size of a squirrel? :P

Well, if I did that avatar in actual proportion, ES may not still be standing there to appear in it.....

I loved my kitties. I still miss them.

I would always have cats if it wasn't for my husband. I can't see making him take allergy shots so that I can have cats.

At least I can snuggle with my husband and make up for the missing cats.

Even I would rather have Cat Deely in my bed than a cat...so hopefully lb makes the right call on that one...

What a cute pooch! I can see why you would pick a little sweetheart like that for a handle.

I'm exhausted!! I finally got Chapman down for a nap, but he's upstairs calling my name right now! I'm hoping he
falls asleep soon!!!

However, this has to mean you're actually considering it!!! I knew it!!! And that looks almost just like Kitty except it needs a little more white on his chest. :)

Evil Squirrel wants you to get a cat. I can tell by the wistful look in his eye.
I agree. And the cat would probably keep those two tree-hogging interlopers out of your yard too.
