This is a call for an audition? Or are you on?
But WOOOOOHOOOOO!
A callback for an audition, that will take up to 2 hours and be video taped. That's all I know.
Not only was my birthday good luck, but your squirrel at the window this morning was too......
I love it when things come together.....

Howie and the models say 7, 13 or 21.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Hahaha well if I make it through the audition, make it on the show
and make it on the stage, I might just have to pick 13...

Or maybe 10. Of course this is the syndie version so you are assigned a case and you have one chance each day for a week to play.

Oh, is that how it works? I really don't know, I never watch the show. I did this on a whim. And I'm telling the truth about that!! LOL...
So you are hanging out for the 5 shows? But it's only one contestant per show, right? Or not necessarily?

Thanks! I'll be thinking of you Thursday, as well as others waiting for their calls. Or not waiting, as I was not, so that a strange number catches you by surprise and makes you think - for just a second - that you shouldn't answer it...

I've never actually watched the syndie show because it's on against Jeopardy here, but I hear they don't use models. I also hear it's somewhat more watchable than the primetime version, since it doesn't drag and waste as much time.
Good luck with the callback!

Ha ha that is funny! I seriously waited 3 rings and in the back of my mind I'm thinking who cares if it's some stalker, it might be DoND!! And I picked up. Good choice!
I want the 11...so I'll just have to make it happen!!! Anyway, my fortune on Facebook did say that romance, fame and fortune were mine for the asking...

Thank you all so much!!
Now that I've settled down and had my daily packet of unsalted energizer mix...I realize that I have exactly 2 days to get over my fear of video cameras!!! The only solution, really, is new shoes!!! Especially since I said if I won lots of money that I was forced to spend, and not on anything responsible, that I would buy lots and lots of shoes!!

There are 20+ ( I don't know the exact number) of contestants holding the cases. There are two models flanking Howie. Somehow a random number is drawn and the person holding the case joins Howie and plays the game. When the half hour is done they are gone and a new person replaces them and a new drawer occurs for the Tuesday show. And so it goes. The contestant who is screwed is the one who replaces the Thursday contestant on the Friday show. I believe that anyone who is on the show has this counted against them as a show appearance whether they are drawn or not. There was a bb who was on the show and he flew out to LA at least twice from the east coast to interview and be on the show but he was never chosen. Good luck.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Yeah, I am going to ask about that during the interview. I have the slightest hesitation about throwing out my eligibility for a year, for a show I'm not guaranteed anything on. I guess it depends if other shows say "appeared on a show" or "participated as a contestant on a show" or how "contestant" is even defined. I need to figure that out. Hopefully that's not negative points against me...not like I would turn it down, but I need to know what I'd be getting into.

I haven't located the exact gameplay yet but here is a website:
http://www.dealornodealtv.com/
I do remember that Bob said that he was using up his eligibility by appearing on stage but he was an east coaster and didn't see anything on the horizon that he wanted to be on so he put all his eggs in this basket. Of course with his big win on BAM he can afford it.

The only other thing I'm toying with is The Amazing Race, so it's in the back of my mind, but yeah, without any other shows on this coast, and with my clear inability to come even close to passing the Jeopardy! test, it's not a huge concern. Just something to think about. Thanks for the link.
