Hey, great shot and mission statement, Marley! Have they announced any audition dates yet? Honestly, I think this is gonna be your year.

Heck, what ever happened to (christie's brainchild, IIRC ?) that "Let's get Marley on the show "BB demonstration" that was proposed a while back...? Have there been any more ideas about this bandied about that I may have missed? 8)

Are you up early or late? I saw a very large powerboat being trailered to Marina del Rey on Thursdsay. The name of the boat? Second Chance.
And, that would be..... late. Yaaaawwwwwwwn. Draaaaaagg...... exhaaaale.

(Those coastal drug runs are what keeps a girl in benjamins and ice, ya know. Just don't tell Sonny Crockett you saw me! He can be a real pest.)

No announcement about auditions, but they'll probably be starting their "summer" auditions in NYC in another month or so.

And I submitted my mission statement along with my audition application years ago. The APs were entirely unimpressed. Why would Meredith want to chat with someone who's interested in playing the game? :|

Just say a psychic told you that you had to audition this year, that they saw you on the show. It worked for a girl who appeared on the show the day I auditioned.

I don't think he likes to bend the truth. He just wants TOPG and the FF ROF with Regis.

Did I never mention that -- in addiiton to my many other lovely parting gifts -- I am a psychic? During my morning reading of coffee grounds, I saw Marley in the hot seat opposite Meredith or a suitable guest host.

There! Done. No truth-bending required on Marley's part.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
