Here's wishing a perfect day for everybody in the wedding party -- and particularly the bride, the groom, and the bride's mother.

Is it too late for me to crash the party? I've got my lampshade and squirrel underpants.....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Sure. Wear the underpants on your head and the lampshade around your waist. Try the little frozen wienie hot dogs. I hear they're made of possum and squirrel parts.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Are you going to wear the shoes you bought in Norman?
If it were up to me she would be wearing ice skates. I think that would be neat to see.

Given that it is a wedding-I would think it would be a bad thing if it went off without a "Hitch."

I think for a wedding-you kind of want it to go off with a "Hitch."

I actually have a minute to myself. Can you believe it? Rehearsal went well and the dinner
afterwards. We had the bridesmaid luncheon yesterday as well. We used the Tiffany Blue
theme, so we had little Tiffany boxes at each place setting. Everyone wrote one word and put
it in the box. Then Natalie opened each box and the person who wrote the word had to explain
why they wrote that particular word. There were no duplicates. The one that made me tear up
was my little 12 year old granddaughter who wrote "loving" on hers and then explained it by
saying "that's just you and me".

The rehearsal dinner was lots of fun and had lots of people who gave their thoughts on both
Natalie and James and how much they thought of each of them individually and as a couple.
Again, McCall, my 12 year old, got up and said how much she loved Natalie and now James and
she was so happy they were getting married. I told her that was the second time she'd made me
cry in one day!

So, that's where we are now. I'm off to run errands and will check in after the wedding, I'm sure.
Thanks for all the well wishes. I need them! Love you all!!!

Kay

Sounds like you're doing a great job! I hope you can catch your breath at some point and absorb it all. (Hope you have a video guy, too, that helps!)

Kongratulations again to the wonderful bride and groom, and may their happiest days be ahead of them.

Thanks for letting us have a peek in the middle of the wedding day.

You really need nothing - you have it all.
