If you follow sports, then you likely have heard of Concord, NC.

It is the home for the Lowe's Motor Speedway, NASCAR offices, and several racing teams, including Hendricks and Roush.

I had a feeling that it was my brief fascination with NASCAR that had me thinking there was a Concord, NC....

It wasn't really necessary to be familiar with the Internet hoax to get this question right. I had never heard of this hoax, but I got it right because I knew that cellphone antennae emit microwaves.

Okay, that sounds reasonable.

I follow sports, just not that one. NASCAR to me is like golf and baseball - several hours of watching for about ten minutes of real action. Good for background noise.

Better than start to finish coverage of a marathon, though, which Boston TV stations do every year. That has all the excitement of watching a sliced apple turn brown.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

And what about Lexington, NC? You need to have heard of both to answer the question. I was thinking of other states that weren't among the choices: Lexington, KY...Concord, CA...but I didn't know of any state with both.

And, again, without any clue in the question about the significance of the towns, there could be some really tiny hamlets with these names in just about any state.

I am only complaining about the wall-to-wall coverage, sc. The start is interesting, the end is interesting, there might be a couple of instances in between that are of middling interest. If you have a friend or relative running, or you yourself are running, that's okay, too, though you're unlikely to get into the coverage unless you're in the hospital tent or have a cute child and spouse waiting for you at the finish line. A former co-worker of mine runs every year as part of the Boston police contingent. I follow his times through the website. In recent years, though, the biggest excitement to the wide, wide world of sports group has been guessing before the race starts which Kenyan will win.

I've never gone to the Lexington Barbecue 500, if you're implying that some such event is held there.

I don't mean that you saw it when it was actual news. But it has been re-aired on television shows quite a lot since then.

And you didn't use sarcafont or and a smily to your statement, so I'm interpreting it seriously. Is is possible someone--and not just the WE/WEs they cast for the show--might not be familiar with that clip?

I'm familiar with the video of the clip. I've never heard of the "Oh the humanity part" until this Bored and that it went with the Hindenberg disaster without that avatar.
