I responded to that yesterday or maybe the day before...my ex's site, I sort of forgot it was there, and now, like him, it's gone.
I know. I was just picking on you.

Well, now there's no reason to crash it.

There are two restaurants here that serve fried pickles. One, Genny's Diner, calls them "frickled pickles". The other is Mark's Feed Store, a BBQ chain.

I've met Mark and I went to high school with Mark's brother, Dale. He was a good friend. By chance, I bought my first car from Dale, after responding to his classified ad in the newspaper. A few years later, Dale died in a house fire. It was a terrible loss. Mark's makes good barbecue, but I've never been a fried pickle kind of guy.

The only place I ever consumed fried pickles was Threadgill's in Austin.
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
