ES will stay away from me.

I can see I have to splain this. (((esseyegeeaitch)))

All the way across Colorado is one large state, as I live on the Back Range (unlike Fan, who for some unfathomable reason does not seem bothered by ES's bothering people).

Then all the way across Kansas.

Then all the way across Missouri to St. Louis.

When he's in Oklahoma, that's all the way across Colorado again, all the way across Kansas, and halfway across Oklahoma. Oklahoma is bigger than Missouri.

That's three. Unodostres.

Sprots, Sprots, Sprots! Oklahoma is your neighbor! Why, he's practically next door!

And ES was with me in Kansas City 3 months ago, so he was awful darn close to being in another neighboring state.....

You shoulda moved to a state that doesn't touch so many others.....

A Most Excellent plan!

There aren't ANY squirrels in Hawaii, right?

I'm sure ES will be wanting to contribute to the SprotsMovingToHawaii fund. :D

I'd find it hard to believe there are no squirrels in Hawaii, but I did find a school of Hawaiian Squirrel Fish....

Thus dodging the question -- how much will ES be contributing? He should send it now, as even the pathetic interest rates down at the Podunkville National Bank will have a chance to compound by move time.

Erin just said, "That was at Hawaii. I was at Hawaii and I saw them."

She knows her Hawaii!

All I can say to that is humuhumunukunukuapua'a. :P

And squirrels don't wake you up at 4 am with their incessant racket like the chickens do. I'm just sayin'.

ES doesn't make enough selling paintings on the street corner to contribute anything towards your Hawaii fund. He says all he has is a stash of nuts, but he'll bring those over of you think they'll be of any value....

ES can keep his nuts to himself -- something he's been told a number of times already, I'm sure . . .

I was rong! Mapquest says I'm four states away from ES when he's in Oklahoma -- Colorado (eighth largest), New Mexico (sixth largest), Texas (second largest), and Oklahoma (20th largest).

ES doesn't use Mapquest. He will just walk across your common border whether there's a road or not....

I gave him the Google map to your town from when I had that Wheres George bill show up there. He'll find you in no time.....

Whew! Walking! That puts him in Podunkville around 2050.

That works.

It's also hard to think of acorns without thinking about squirrels. What happens to them when their favorite food disappears? Some Eastern Seaboard residents have reported seeing skinny, aggressive squirrels devouring bird feed.

Dammit, who interviewed Beebs!?!?!?!?

For just the price of a tank of gas a day, you can save the squirrels and bears from this barbaric situation......

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.
