Wow!

Do you have any details about the wedding to share?
Things are going well. The invitations are in and one of our friends who
does calligraphy has offered to address them as her wedding gift. It was going to run me
about $400, so that is a big help!
That is a very nice wedding gift!

My husband's aunt loves making cards, so we asked her to design and make our wedding invitations. They turned out beautifully.

We finally broke the "ballpark $10,000" flower cost to Allen the other
day. He said nope, cut it. We don't see where we can, and I think I am under budget
on some other stuff. That is going to have to be worked on soon, I suppose.

I remember a few years ago, we bought a new clothes washer and dishwasher at the same time. When they were delivered and set up by the "guys", my youngest kids who were about 5 and 7, begged to keep the boxes, so we did. Those boxes were huge and took up way too much room in the living room, but it was so much fun to hear the kids pretending they were flying to the moon or out on the ocean or anything else they could imagine! We kept them around for a while! (the boxes that is, we still have the kids  )

Cardboard boxes are wonderful toys!

Of course they always like the boxes better than the toys. We had many
of those large boxes provides hours of entertainment as well. :)

This is why "the cardboard box" and "the stick" are in the Toy Hall of Fame.

On a similar note, we haven't bought a cat toy in years. One plays with wadded up pieces of paper, and they both play with the strip of plastic that you peel off when you open a plastic jug of milk. And there's always the laser pointer for some amusement.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Natalie talked me into getting a laser pointer for our cat,
but he doesn't care for it. Now an empty paper bag is another thing.

Now what were the odds I'd wake up and see a thread with about 30 black and white avatars of Chapman in them.....

To chat or to catch up? The baby is spending the night again.
However, since he didn't sleep today, he's been asleep since 7:15!

I may get him one, although I'm sure the candles will be much more attractive.

Hey! You got a gus! Congratulations!
If it hadn't been a lady like Kay, I'd so be poking fun at the double entendre possibilities in that gus post.....

LOL! Well, thanks for the "lady" comment. I don't think a 10 month old needs
to be playing with baseballs! Do they still make Nerfs?? Maybe I should have used that instead.

My cats love the laser pointer.

Lily also enjoys chasing the reflections of DVDs.
