Sorry that I wasn't able to get to the bored all day. It's hubby's birthday and we had a big party last night and a family dinner tonight.

AD, I too, lost my Dad when he was 79. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Your friend, Ellen

I wanted to add my condolences.

My own father passed away just before his 80th birthday. In our case, it was more than expected, as he deteriorated quickly from ALS. Still, it came as a shock to many.

Again, your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Time will help. It won't take away, thankfully, all the fond memories. They will be with you forever.

Hold the ones you love and always tell them of your love.
