Thanks, everyone, for your kind words and thoughts.

Dad's out of the hospital already (nothing broken, not even any bruising). They took care of the dehydration and he's feeling mucho better. He'll be able to go the funeral tomorrow, which is what's really important...he'd have never forgiven us if he'd missed it.
