I take offense at you saying I took offense. I don't know what gave you that impression. I was merely correcting your misstatement about what I drive. I thought maybe you were making a joke.

You italisized 'joke' giving it emphasis, so in my mind it sounded like offense might have been taken. I can't read my wife's verbal inflections correctly, let alone your written ones.

WTF? I can understand you being mistaken and thinking that I drive a Prius. No harm done there. But in explaining that mistake, you say it was caused by my putting the word "joke" in italics. Earth to BiT -- what the heck are you talking about? Take another look at my post. There are no italics. Let's hope you just need new glasses and this is not a symptom of something more serious.

Wow, and here I was all jazzed when I saw it at 3.29 yesterday. Well, not really jazzed, because it's gone down 20 cents a gallon since I filled up last Tuesday.

I don't have any money to lose in the stock market, so I'll take my meager couple bucks of saving where I can and be happy. I don't think that's so crazy.

I can top that. I filled up just this past Sunday for $3.58 a gallon.

That same station is now at $3.29 as we speak... dropping 10 cents each of the past two days, and about a nickel each of the 2 days before that...

And of course, we're still getting hosed compared to most other areas....
