I just watched this on my DVR from CBS. In this segment, both candidates are shown the entire time on split screen. What John McCain is saying is a single syllable. It is still undecernable, but from his expression and lips, I'd say he was itching to interrupt with '[of] course.....'

His expression did not have the 'horse shit' look at all.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

I notice no one has said,

"Even if he said it, so what?"

Which is where I'm at.
I am about 25% sure of this.

The only way I can see anybody making hay out of this is if they want to point up how one of the candidates doesn't recognize the dangers of a national live mike. Heck, we had a President who didn't recognize the dangers of his own sound system, 18.5 minute gap and all.

"Expletive" is like "counterinsurgency."

I'm in lowest common denominator mode for the duration of the campaign.
I am about 25% sure of this.
