Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh listed himself as a “Renate Alumnius” in his Georgetown Preparatory School’s high school yearbook — an apparent reference to Renate Schroeder Dolphin, who attended a Catholic girls’ school nearby.

After Kavanaugh was first accused of sexual misconduct by Christine Blasey Ford, Dolphin joined more than 60 other women who knew Kavanaugh in high school and signed a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee saying “he has behaved honorably and treated women with respect.”

But now Dolphin has seen Kavanaugh’s yearbook page.

“I learned about these yearbook pages only a few days ago,” Dolphin said in a statement, according to the New York Times. “I don’t know what ‘Renate Alumnus’ actually means. I can’t begin to comprehend what goes through the minds of 17-year-old boys who write such things, but the insinuation is horrible, hurtful and simply untrue. I pray their daughters are never treated this way. I will have no further comment.”

“Renate” is referenced at least 14 times in the 1983 yearbook page, either on individual's pages and also in a group photo labeled “Renate Alumni (missing: Pres. J.C. Del Real).” Two of Kavanaugh's classmates told the Times that the boys were bragging about their conquests by including the name, although Kavanaugh claimed in an interview with Fox News' Martha McCallum on Monday that he remained a virgin in high school.

Kavanaugh’s lawyer Alexandra Walsh said it was only mentioned because Kavanaugh and Dolphin attended an event in high school together. “Judge Kavanaugh was friends with Renate Dolphin in high school. He admired her very much then, and he admires her to this day," Walsh said.

“Judge Kavanaugh and Ms. Dolphin attended one high school event together and shared a brief kiss good night following that event,” the statement continued. “They had no other such encounter. The language from Judge Kavanaugh’s high school yearbook refers to the fact that he and Ms. Dolphin attended that one high school event together and nothing else.”

Dolphin asserted in a statement through her lawyer that Kavanaugh “must have me confused with someone else, because I never kissed him.”

Kavanaugh has been accused by two women of sexual misconduct. Christine Blasey Ford, the first woman, claims Kavanaugh forced himself onto her at a high school party in the 1980s.

The New Yorker also published a piece on Sunday in which Deborah Ramirez accused Kavanaugh of exposing himself to her at a college party in the 1980s at Yale University when they were students.

Kavanaugh has rejected both allegations, and he and Ford are slated to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.

Occam's Razor suggests that the reason these accounts are appearing for Kavanaugh but not for Gorsuch is because these things actually happened with Kavanaugh but not for Gorsuch.
