Jackie Fox taped the last show of the first eight for The Chase. They are showing the episodes out of order. I think they just finished taping the second set of eight this week.

After the Runaways she ended up at UCLA and then law school...you'll hear more about that when Millionaire airs. But she checked with WWTBAM and they said it was ok that she did The Chase.

Ok, I don't know how Jackie did. But she seemed pleased with the results. She was the second person to tape on the first show today. They tape five shows per day as before. And I guess they taped at least five shows on Monday and maybe five yesterday. She said that Cedric seems at ease as a host and she thinks he'll make a good host even with the couple of jokes that he told. Oh, and she says that if they say bring something with your social security number on it...you should do it...

I'm not sure if englishchaser taped today.

After a loooong hiatus from the Bored, I have resumed tilting at this particular windmill. I'll chime in later about all that on a more appropriate thread.

I went in to NYC and auditioned yesterday. If nothing else, I figured I'd come out of it with a free teeshirt and some newly-crushed self-esteem.

I passed the written test, and went on to the video interview. I've never actually made it to that stage of the game before, so this was new to me. I'm pretty excited, although I'm trying not to freak out. I think I did okay, but not great on the video part. I was super laid back and cheerful for the initial interview, because honestly, I was so convinced I bombed the test that when they called my name I actually bounced out of my seat and did the ridiculous happy dance. Shocked, I tell you, shocked. So, because I wasn't really expecting to be interviewed, I didn't sit through the entire taping freaking out about it.

The video interview was fun, although I think I was a little too nervous. And now, the wait by the email/mailbox.

Is anyone else in the pool getting nervous? The second Cedric article stated that there are a total of seven weeks of taping. If taping started August 19th, then this is the third week of taping. If people usually get three weeks notice before they appear, then by my calculations, we only have until next week to hear if we're on the show. Am I missing something?

For one thing, they probably aren't taping those seven weeks consecutively. Past seasons have had breaks in the taping season, stretching it out to late November or early December.

The Tickets page says:

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with new host Cedric “The Entertainer” will be taping shows from AUGUST- NOVEMBER.
