While I appreciate the compliment, you give me too much credit for cleverness in devising the quartet. It actually works in a somewhat simpler way, and you will probably see it when you winnow down the clues. The triple is tricky, partly because it involves one of the more obscure cities. But you've already figured out a couple that I thought would be stumpers, like the Magic Mirror.

Some of your other current pairings won't allow you to use all the clues. I'll give an exact number the next time someone publishes a consolidation.

It's been a while, but I'm back with another SSS puzzle. First, you must identify the famous people described in the 104 clues below. Then, group them together to form 48 pairs, one single, one triple, and one quartet according to a Tangredi which you must figure out. Unlike some of my puzzles, there is no significance whatsoever to the number of clues, or pairings in the puzzle. However, one of the answers, if you look at it the right way, could give you a clue to the Tangredi. Once you figure out the Tangredi, you'll probably need to think outside the box to figure out some of the pairings (and this sentence isn't a clue either).

Two of the pairings won't allow you to finish the puzzle. In both cases, you've figured out the correct person but have him or her matched with someone other that the one that I intended.

Well, I found one of them right off. Alex Kingston was married to Ralph Fiennes, which revives the David Tennant/Steve Martin match.

Found the other one. The season Kelly Monaco won Dancing with the Stars, John O'Hurley came in second. That puts Hugh Hefner back in play.

I thought I spotted a Lathan in this puzzle!

82. Stan Lathan + 104. Omar Epps = Sanaa Lathan

They starred together in Love & Basketball.

Spongebob Squarepants intrigues me. It obviously can't be used to form a name with a world capital, so we're looking for a name associated with Spongebob. There are a couple of Patricks on the list, but I doubt there's a world capital name Starfish.

Okay, I googled the last name Lander and found a painter I never heard of who did a portrait of George V. That creates a partial triple and narrows down our other partial to two choices.

Partial triple
John (Galbraith, R or Hannah) + 23. David Lander + 45. King George V = John St. Helier Lander

Partial pair
David (Attenborough or Ortiz) + 98. Tom Hanks = David Moscow

I am wondering, though, if John Kenneth Galbraith could be part of the quartet - different people with the first names John and Kenneth. That might also apply to Edward James Olmos or Antoine-Henri Becquerel.

One more. I hope we're all okay with 'cheating' at this point.
Robin Tunney (born June 19, 1972) is an American actress. She is known for her role as Teresa Lisbon in the television series The Mentalist (2008–2015).

96. Ivan Boesky + 57. Sergei Eisenstein = Ivan Grozny
