I liked the newer version of his dog photo more, even though it is more recent. The older one is in the extras linked in the first post of this thread.

I had forgotten all about the older Mazy avatar, though I'd have still known it was goonie's, as I believe Mazy's twin herjosie has had the same avatar the whole time she's been registered here and I knew it wasn't that one....

I don't think I remember this specific avatar (although the more I think about it, the more I'm convincing myself that I do), but I think that is Luuucy's dog. I don't think it's Xena, but I can't remember this one's name. Or even the breed, although Wellman said it more than once......

What was I saying again? Ha!

Yay! Someone got it
Fanny knows Bored canines as well as felines. It was Luuuucy's dog.

When LB mentioned that the oldest avatar I had for him was actually his third, I noticed that the first avatar I saved was more than a month after this version of the Bored started. I dug further and found one (or maybe two) older ones from October or early November 2007 and this Lucy avatar was what I found.

lol - indeed! My ShihTzus are rough, and er, um, tough frontier types. And ferocious. As long as there is a sturdy door and thick glass separating them from the deer and antelope, they issue all manner of fierce insults.

:P :P :P :P :P :P

The first avatar of Wellman's that resonated with me was the one that had Princess (Can't believe I forgot about her since I only drew her into Cindy's portrait) in the foreground and Xena in the background. That's the avatar I will always associate with her. I think she had that one up for a while..... maybe even right up until she made her ES portrait her avatar.....

That came immediately before the one of Chapman in the "Lion Around" shirt, which was her avatar when I first drew Kiki's portrait in July 2008.... thus why she is a lion(ess)...

Today's avatar was posted for at most a week or two in the spring of 2008, and it is a can of insect spray.

Insect repellent was a bit of a distractor. It was posted as an avatar more because it was a marketing failure that sat on the shelves at a major retailer for a long time.

Coincidence... It was made by 3M. That is the same company that also made a certain product, making news now in the game show world, that was first sold in stores in 1980, or maybe 1977 or 1978.
