As much as I appreciate their appreciating my appreciation of the show, just once I'd like to get a shot at the chair. This makes nine times that I've passed! The family keeps reminding me that they saw a guy who said he'd passed 15 times before getting in the door, so.... fingers crossed.

Not a clue - my Mom's been saying it for a while, though. I haven't tested in at least a year and I think she started saying it when I was still working in Hell, which puts it on the air at least two years ago. I'd be thrilled to get the happy card once. Used to go up regularly and audition when I had Mondays off (two jobs ago), might go back to it now that I've got Fridays off.

Quick question for everyone. I seems from last year's audition list that all but one person who received a 'happy card' eventually got on the show. I thought I'd read somewhere else that only roughly 50% of 'happy card' folks made it to the hot seat. Which is correct? Was last year just a fluke?

50% is probably more accurate. I recall that there were a bunch of us left in the great pool flush of May 2006 (which was the first time in SyndieBAM that they announced that eligiblity had expired).

Of course, we've only got a small sampling of card holders here, so we have no idea what the real statistics are--and TPTB will never tell us.

by the way...does anyone know if there are any other road auditions planned yet? Just curious as it says they only were doing Netflix week auditions on the road acccording to the website... and they still have just those three they already did.

There aren't any more posted on their website and we won't know if there will be any more until they tell us.

They've usually done six road trip auditions each summer, so we would normally expect another three someplace. Maybe they'll announce another road trip for the week of August 23 or August 30, where there's a gap in the taping schedule. After that, I'd say they'd be too busy with the taping to bother with the travel.

Curious if anyone's heard of Movie Week's fate? Have they scheduled shooting or at least confirmed the special's contestants? Curious if it's still on the horizon, since the revamp might be getting most of the attention for awhile.

IIRC, the only BB to report getting a Happy Card for Movie Week is danangel. She hasn't gotten The Call, yet, and that's the limit to our inside information. TPTB never* announce when a special theme week is going to be taped or when they've cast the contestants for it, they just do it one day instead of the regular episodes.

*(Well, they did pre-announce the tapings of Walk In And Win, back in the seasons when they did those specials.)

Thanks, MarleysGh0st. I've only been able to catch clips of Movie Week online, and am really looking forward to what they do with the new format.

During my lurking days, I read on various forums that some people who have received either happy or sad cards had REG, NETFLIX or both written on their card. Can anyone with a happy or sad card confirm or deny this? I, for some reason, had neither, just the printed message.
