Not stupid, just slow. I've timed out before even seeing the new page with the question four times this month.

For today's question, I had a lyrics question about a group that I don't particularly care for, but I had heard the song so many times that I could answer it.

I haven't gotten the e-mail with a link to today's question. It's not in my junk folder either.

Anyone know if there's a way to access the daily question without the e-mail link?

Thanks.

I can just point my browser to sploofus.com, login, go to my sploofus, and there will be a message pointing me to any questions I haven't answered.

I was going to make a snooty remark about how I'm special, but you've had more TV face time than I have.

I didn't get the email today either.

I'm going to wait until I go home to try to do it on the website.

That worked. And I got a question I knew (first time in a couple days for that).

Thanks "Steve"

Missed one over the weekend. If I got that question again I'd still probably miss it. A science question which I usually do pretty well on but the answers seem really vague and disconnected to the question to me.

That about finishes any chance of a top ten finish for the month. On to August!

Looks like I'm going to lose the title this month on a bullshit question. It didn't even make sense, the way it was worded.
Which 1972 album was "Deep Purple"?
The correct answer was:
"Machine Head"
Apparently they wanted to know which of the choices was the title of a 1972 album by Deep Purple. But that's not what they asked. Oh, well...

That is a true bs question. Tonight, mine was about silage. I got it right.

I can only dream of silage questions. I missed a vocabulary question this morning. I can't even remember the definition. Complete blank-out.

July is now completely dead to me.

I have a disorder where I try to read from both directions at the same time. So my brain helpfully fills in words where there aren't any. In timed (and sometimes untimed) questions that is usually my downfall, but here it would have been an advantage as I would have just filled in the word "by" automatically and never even known it wasn't there.
Spoiler
I'm darned good and ready.

Still haven't missed a question. I will relish the fast internet once I return to the States. Prolly won't be able to play tomorrow due to work, but I should be able to get the last two questions in on Thursday. Think this will go down to the wire.

Question:

I'm too cheap to pay Sploofus to "upgrade" my account. So I have a bazillion wager chips- or whatever they call them- that I can't use. Are the scores on this list inclusive of points from wagers, or are they just straight answer totals, like mine.?

These are straight answer totals.

Just crawled back into the top 500.

Probably won't be there by the end of the day though.
