It's NOT With a song in My Heart ...

A-20. SUSAN HAYWARD (I Thank a Fool) with Brenda deBanzie ((B-12. A KID FOR TWO FARTHINGS)
Apparently, Susan Hayward was even more self-centered about her movie titles than I had realized. I could have used her seven times!

There are two additional Susan Hayward titles that I actually intended. One of them isn't necessary to complete the puzzle, but one is.
Oh, for heaven's sake - I just realized one of them has to be I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE - WITH DAN DAILEY )(There's no business like show business)

I had meant that match to be Raymond Massey, who was in The Hurricane, but it works either way.

Some possibilities; don't know if anything will work.

Owen Wilson was in I Spy.
Victor Mature was in My Darling Clementine (Clementine was Doc Holliday's girlfriend, so this fits the puzzle).
Julia Roberts was in I Love Trouble.
Roberts and Natasha Lyonne were in Everyone Says I Love You (I'm not sure who the "I" is in this movie).
Ashton Kutcher was in My Boss's Daughter.

Going out but maybe this will inspire someone.

I count 91 matches, with every actor and movie covered.

Thanks for a fun game, Frank!

Glad you enjoyed it! You guys came up with a number of matches I didn't intend, and only missed three that I did intend. But everything was used, that's what counts. For the record, the three I intended that no one got were:

A-2. Claudette Colbert in I Met Him in Paris with Melvyn Douglas (B-49. Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House)
A-40. Roddy McDowall in How Green Was My Valley with Sara Allgood (B-38. The Fabulous Dorseys)
A-65. Fred MacMurray in Kisses for My President with Polly Bergen (B-20. The Stooge)

I've had a perfectly wonderful evening, and this was it. (Had to flip that famous Groucho line on its end one time.)

I definitely can't wait for the next game. I've been working on a new general knowledge game for the past week. I have all of the matches. I just need to write the clues. So don't expect my next one to show up for at least another month.

I've assembled the songs for a new lyrics game, so I should be able to fill the gap by next week.

Thanks for the puzzle Frank.

And, along those lines, I've been working on one as well (it's been a long time since I had one). Like the Pastor, I've got the matches and I'm about a third of the way through the clues. My goal is to get it up by the holiday (Pres. day, not Memorial Day).

Brilliant! That'll give me extra time to work on mine.
