I couldn't place that avatar at first (I just knew it had to be Fanny's), but now I think I remember it......

That was the original avatar for WheresFanny.... the only one of the Fanny sequels whose permanent avatar was not the first one used for it. WF eventually settled on Kiki Whatshername......

Edit: Southpaw Fanny might have started out with my basketball tattoo avatar instead of its permanent baseball tattoo avatar.... I think the NUGGETS!!!11 were still playing on May 18, 2009.....

You two remember better than I do! Although once I read it, I remembered. The girls would have spent a long time looking for Fanny, since she wasn't born yet at the time of that pic.

I thought Southpaw Fanny started out with the picture of Fanny with my Yaz glove, although maybe that was just the inspiration for the name in the first place.....

You might be right. I think that's where I got the inspiration for the name and I asked you to alter Basketball Fanny to Baseball Fanny (I believe that's when I pointed out that you had made Basketball Fanny right handed and you clutched the pearls.....).

I also recall that I was going to change WheresFanny's avatar back to the original when it was retired (in keeping with tradition) but I think you convinced me that Kiki de M was really the signature avatar of Fanny III.

It was WF that set the tradition that the avatar retired with a Fanny name was the one that seemed to be most associated with it. You had Kiki up far too long and the original was pretty well forgotten.....

I wonder if Snaxx has my original avatar? I actually use it on one of my Merry Men.....

I was about to ask which quilting Christie(Christy) but the one from Kansas is spelled differently.

I've been having a slow response on my netbook and soon found out why when the popup came up saying that a gazillion Windows updates have been successfully installed and it was time to restart my system. I made this quilt for a co-worker's first born son. It was on the cover of a quilting magazine when I was trying to decide what to make and it immediately was the correct choice. Not often that I would make a quilt twice but this might be one. It was really easy yet striking when done.
