I don't know if anyone has seen it, but there's a new version of Lingo premiering on CBS after New Year's. It's hosted by RuPaul (not in drag). What I've been able to gather from the commercials is that teams of two compete and alternate turns trying to guess a five-letter word when they've been given the first letter already. The game board reveals how many letters in your guess are in the actual word and whether they're in the right place or not, just like Wordle. I don't know how the scoring works except that the teams seemed to have won $80,000 in the game play clips they showed in the commercial. Different versions of this game have been on the air dating back to the 80s.
