B-7. In this movie, as in real life, the title character finally gets the Oscar that he had won almost 20 years earlier.

Not Chaplin.

B-31. A well-regarded drama on a serious theme, it had the misfortune to be released the same year as a classic comedy on the same theme.

Working backwards, this has to be Fail Safe, which came out the same time as Dr. Strangelove.

B-31. Fail Safe with Larry Hagman - Tony Nelson in I Dream of Jeannie. A-78. Tony Randall and A-24. Judd Nelson

Another consolidation glitch: this one has both A-55 and A-87 as Anika Noni Rose. I think you dropped someone named Roger Guenvar Smith from A-87

B-26 Three Men and a Baby with Tom Selleck - Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods. A-8 FRANK Oz + A-61 Ronald REAGAN.

A-87 is Moses Gunn. Gets us Craig Stevens' Peter Gunn.

Thanks - was trying to do this during bathroom demo. Not as crisp as I thought I was. LOLOLOL

B-21. The Deadly Mantis with Craig Stevens - Peter Gunn. A-32. Peter Finch and A-87. Moses Gunn

How about TRUMBO? The Water Brennan/Jesse White combo was too good for Bryan Cranston NOT to be here.

The only person I can find in Born on the Fourth of July with a significant TV series presence (besides Jenna Van Oy) is Kyra Sedgwick. She played Brenda Johnson on The Closer, and we have A-46 Brenda Blethyn and A-59 Ben Johnson.

Perfect. As far as I can tell, the only movie we haven't used is Kill Bill.

And I was working on a consolidation and deleted it.

ARUGH

AND ..... Lucy Lui helps us again.

B-30. Kill Bill, Vol. 1 with Lucy Lui - Joan Watson in Elementary. A-39. Joan Hackett and A-64. Emily Watson

So, all the movies have been used at least once.

As far as I can tell, we have not used

A-2. Morgan Freeman
A-38. Josh Gad
A-52. Heather O'Roarke

I mean, Forrest Tucker's character on F-Troop was Sgt. Morgan O'Roarke, but I don't see a Forrest Tucker movie on the list.

As far as I can tell, we have 59 matches and the only actor not used is Josh Gad. All movies are used at least once.
The only Josh character I know on a TV series is Josh Lyman from The West Wing, and I don't see a Lyman anywhere.

My thoughts exactly - looked earlier. Bradley Whitford was in some pretty big movies and I thought one might pop up but didn't see that, either.

A couple of times a week, Boonie sits and watches a classic Western on one of the over-the-air stations. Two, three times a week. Sometimes I watch with him.

B-1. The Towering Inferno with Steve McQueen. Josh Randall in Wanted, Dead or Alive. A-38. Josh Gad and A-78. Tony Randall.

And I believe that, ladies and gentlemen, wraps this up.

It didn't matter here, but for future reference, her last name is "Liu," not "Lui."
