If it's being played at a bar called "The Manhole," or anything like that, it's prolly a different game...

I believe that I might have called ol' Carson a cornhole on a couple of occasions yesterday. The rest of the time I was calling him bad names......

There used to be a bar in town called The Glory Hole (cause, you know, this is gold mining country and all, what were you thinking?). Then it was sold and renamed The Royal Screw. I guess they wanted to class it up a bit.....

Let's take 492 as a virtual 500. Well done!

Sorry Sprots, but if I had shot a 500, my team would have taken series. Instead, we lost it by 6 pins, despite taking 2 of the three games....

Looks like you're "all in" for the first game, causing a big let down for game two.

Try to save something for that 2nd game next week, OK?

Not a bad 3 game average, though. 8)

When I saw that 493, I was going to compliment you on your consistency. Then I saw the game scores. . .

You're doing great! I predict a consistent 500 series next week.

Well, you certainly followed my suggestion and saved something for the second game, but you didn't have to
save quite so much! Still your best showing yet, so I won't complain too loudly.

Were you getting those "unresponsive" messages, too? Seems like our web server is doing that more often, lately, and when it's not, it's response time is still like molasses.

I didn't mention it, but I got that 201 game despite rolling splits in the 9th and 10th frames. I had to pick the 5-8-10 split in the 10th to keep the dream alive.....

Oooh, 160 is the generally accepted benchmark, at least it was BITD (sorry, EG) that separated the okay bowlers from the good bowlers. (I'll let you know what the one for a GOOD bowler is when you get there....)

You're going to have to keep up that gaudy average now, young man. It's easier to get there than to stay there......

My average pretty much topped out in the upper 160's when I bowled regularly BITD. I never carried a 170 average past the first half of the season. I don't anticipate I'm any threat to even get to 170 this year, I do have a goal of finishing at at least 165.....

That last game was even worse than the score shows. I left 6 freaking open frames, all on easy spares. I completely fell apart after the great first game....
