... on Movies - which in general provides a lot of fodder for game shows and the movies do have a political theme. So if you need a break from tonights convention coverage, TCM is showing (uncut and commercial free) 2 of my favorite movies (I have around 200+ films in my list of 'Top 10 Favorite Movies').
The Candidate and Nashville are both on tonight and with a extra bonus of Henry Fonda's 'The Best Man' (which just missed being in my top 10 and is my list of top 50 - which has over 1000 entries).
If you have not seen either of these, I highly recommend them. I'm especially looking forward to The Candidate, since I haven't seen it in over a decade and I don't think it has dated at all - in fact the debate scene, I would venture to guess could be filmed today and except for the clothing styles, the topics and positions haven't moved a bit in over 35 years.
Remember - "Bill McKay - The Better Way". Enjoy!
---Jay (Robert Redford plays a wounded policeman trying to get into an old woman's house, but she is convienced he is Mr. Death in this classic Twilight Zone episode - if you know how old Robert Redford was the year this episode aired then you will also know how many days it will be until the scheduled airing of my episode as well)
It's not really political, It's not Game Show but it is on..
