Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes.
Too busy playing bridge since Thursday I have had little time for internet access.
Let me bore some with a bridge recap--maybe some hands when I get home.
Thursday pairs game in afternoon and evening--playing with new partner to work on game as we will be teammates for the knockouts. Oops--- non good in both sessions but we work through what we will play. 50% & 46%
Friday 9Am--I was not gonna play in AM but go to kibitz and someone needed a partner for side game. A whole 4 1/2 tables but we put in a 70% game and director says we are barred from playing together the rest of the tourney.
Friday afternoon knockout--win first two. Friday evening get slaughtered in both--3 team round robin. We have chance to win one but partner forgets our takeout dbl thru 2S and they make. Ouch
Sat AM--compact knockout--win both--easy. On to the semifinals this morning.
Sat afternoon--new knockout and we win both--again round robin.
Sat evening we win 1 of two in round robin so on to semifinals tonight. Came from 16 down at half (12 board matches) so pretty good comeback in 6 boards.
Thanks again everyone.

Missed it completely!
Hope you had a great day, and that the party continues through the long weekend.
