CBS will no longer let you fast-forward their episodes to get to the part you missed. At least not on "Flashpoint" they won't. I kinda remember being able to do this. I think with this network's shows. I know with other networks; shows.

Now I have to pick a time I can play the whole episode, & keep checking in until I get to the part where I miscalculated how much VCR tape was left last week.

That's really weird. I can fast forward CBS stuff that I have saved on my DVR. I wouldn't think they'd have technology that would prevent fast forwarding on a VCR, but not on a DVR. Maybe there is something wrong with your VCR or your tape?

Either that or time to get DVR! Or watch them on "on demand" - they have CBS shows there that don't have any commercials, other than maybe a preview or two of CBS shows. I don't know if they have that show or not though.

Just a guess as I don't know for sure but I think ghost is talking about replaying the episode on the CBS website and not being able to fast forward there.
