I was really trying to stay out of this, but I am weak and I saw this quote
How many houses does nancy Pelosi own? Harry Reid? And how many houses has Bill Ayers blown up or plotted to blow up?

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I still don't know how I am voting in November.

My girls want me to vote for Obama, but I am not sure.

I am waiting for the V.P. picks.

I just saw a McCain ad that the economy stinks.

BUT, McCain just said the other day that the economy is just fine.

So, which is it?

Oh, never mind. I forgot that John McCain, the candidate, doesn't speak for the McCain campaign.

For the record, Warren Buffett is backing Obama.

After all, this is the same candidate who was against torture before he was for it. --Bob

As opposed to Barack Obama, who hasn't found a single issue that he can't get on both sides of given a day or two and the right audience.

This statement that has been pushed by FOX Cartoon News for months is a bald-faced lie.

Tony Rezko bought a piece of property that was next door to the house that Barack and Michelle had originally bought. The Obamas later bought that next-door property, but as soon asthey realized that the guy was a sleazebag, they sold their properties and moved. Rezko had nothing to do with the house.

It's amazing what you can learn when you do your own research rather than having Sean Hannity do it for you.

The one that says "We're worse off than we were four years ago"?

I couldn't believe that was a McCain commercial when I first saw it.

Making this thread on-topic:

(CHESTER, Va.) The Obama campaign perked up yesterday when it learned that John McCain admitted in an interview with Politico that he was unsure of the number of homes he owns. "I think - I'll have my staff get to you," McCain said.

Those nine little words sprung the Obama campaign into frenzy. Less than 24 hours later, it released a national TV ad on cable, mobilized surrogates, and launched events in battleground states with titles such as “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: McCain Edition.:"
OK, Senator Obama, your answer to this question can win or lose my vote:

Will you be selecting contestants for this show through auditions or a phone game?

As long as we don't have to use the "Ask the Supreme Court" lifeline this year!

McCain lost Buffett years ago, when he first supported school choice, vouchers, merit pay, and anything else that the NEA would not like.

(Buffett's mom was a public school teacher, and it is a very hot button topic for him.)

Really? You yourself went down to the county courthouse, reviewed all the title and deed transactions? You traced all the money throught the bank transactions yourself?

I apologize. All this time I was selling you short.

But . . . I find this stuff about McCain too funny. From this post, I got a picture him being led from house to house by Cindy, blindfolded so he doesn't know where or whose house he's in. Once he's in the house, he asks, not thinking, "So where are we?" As she starts to answer, he runs out of the room, screaming, "DON'T TELL ME! DON'T TELL ME!"

Later, as they entertain, a guest asks Cindy, "So, when did you buy this place." And John covers his ears and starts to hum a little tune.

Poor man.
THIS is too funny. At least his wife pronounces her name like most "Cindy"s do, so he doesn't have to take the same crap Kerry did for the Rich Wife Issue....

How many ways are there to pronounce Cindy?

I don't blame anyone for not wanting to be known as Terry Kerry.

I've been trying to stay out of "sss goes off the deep end" here, but anyway (no longer out of it I guess):

Do you really want McCain's likely choice of Supreme Court judges more than you don't-want Obama?

I'm old, bit, please pray tell what branch of the service you were in that would give you such an insight into how an admiral's son would have been treated by his peers. Now remember that you have to go back 55 or 60 years to when JMC was a adolescent. You don't think he was born on third base? You don't have a frigging clue how it was. Or anything else as far as that goes, my friend.
