RIP Anthony Russo

With Daniel Ellsberg, he was responsible for leaking the Pentagon Papers to the press. Russo was never as vocal as Ellsberg about what they did, instead kept pretty much to himself, although in later years he became involved in anti-nuclear protests. He and Ellsberg were tried in 1973 on espionage charges which were dismissed due to government misconduct.

Age 71.
