New Sci Fi Channel "Reality/Contest" Show

Below is a description of the new TV show that is scheduled to air on SCI FI.
Run For Money is a reality show where ten contestants race through city streets in a quest to earn money, complete challenges and avoid a team of precision hunters who are out to capture them.

The action takes place over 60 minutes of real time in various landmark locations. As the clock winds down, the competition gets harder as more hunters appear on the streets, and tasks are assigned that test fraying nerves. Contestants earn money for every second they "stay alive" and may opt out at their choosing. If they keep playing and are overrun by a hunter, they lose everything. The last person standing takes the prize.

You know, I was sitting here thinking "What this country needs is another reality show".

Now we have it.

If they wanted to ramp up the excitement, they should call it "Run for Your Life" and give the hunters live ammo.

And isn't it interesting that a remake of "Death Race" is due to be released soon?

I know someone who applied/auditioned for a reality show on the SciFi Channel. They said it was sort of like a hybrid Fear Factor/Big Brother. The kicker is that it is going to be filmed in Argentina! They must have less stringent laws regarding reality shows.
