There are too many too choose from. Which one is best for an amateur labeler?
For some reason, the thought of an 'amateur labeler' cracks me up.
"Yeah, I'm thinking about going pro just for the endorsement deals, but I don't want to give up my Olympic eligibility."
Mine must be too old, because they don't have it there (and prices have really gone down!). But it's similar to the tall thin handheld ones. The one thing I don't like about mine is it doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard but I've pretty much labelled everything that doesn't move already, so I don't use it enough to justify buying a new one, even if I could get a QWERTY for the price I paid for mine.
I'm darned good and ready.

The lucky one
Wow, I'm flattered! (to be thought of and so designated) I rather thought I was the lazy one, given all the worthy threads I haven't responded to.

I find you entrancing, Miss DK. As you may have noticed, my neck includes a couple of, um, "spots," too. The more the merrier.
Well, you are quite the looker, Mr. Jokey. But, alas, I have retired from any hands on spot removing myself. I might, however, be able to recommend some other discerning handy dandy hickey dickey picker to assist you should you need those services.
This device has remarkable healing powers. Christie can whip one up in a jiffy after she finishes my pomegranate margarita.
I can whip up something to remove spots alright! It might remove more than that! But the spots would be gone!

I love my P-Touch. I love it so much that that I bought a second one, just in case my first one ever went out.
You would get along very well with Sting - he does the same thing. Except, he tends to forget where he has stored his stuff, so we end up buying a third in the emergency, then 6 months later he finds the second.
I used my P-Touch to make a label for the basket where I keep the unopened P-Touch.
I'm not kidding.
When I was in VT at the quilt festival, the Friday night lecturer was speaking about organizing your sewing area. She told everyone they could not leaves the state until they purchased such a labelling device. Husband1111 assured me that we already had one so it was safe for me to come home.

She can be the perplexed one for a bit.

Aren't you notebook boy? Or are you looking for a one name label like Cher or Madonna?
