Single Digit edition

Today's {8/1/08} For Better or For Worse is appropriate.

The anniversaries will not coincide. Elizabeth's wedding is the 23rd.

I asked GW about the comparison to BD regarding moving cross-country when we were wed. She pointed out some major differences. I had a job that she knew could support us both until she found work. She had met some of my relatives, including siblings and an aunt and uncle she'll never forget. Most importantly, I had a place for us to live. None of the above is true for BD. No wonder she's stressed.

I peeked at my Visa bill online. Erk. 'Nuff said.

The details are falling into place. Florist is set with the number of tables for centerpieces. The ceremony order and procession is set for the programs from my niece. The DJ knows where to set up (we discovered a major error in their contract, regarding that; we're in the smaller hall of the venue, and the contract had us in the big one.). Venue is letting us leave the floral stands for the chuppah for pickup until the next morning. FSIL does indeed have a plane ticket to get here.

Major piece still missing: license. First thing Monday morning. With the town budget cutbacks, the clerk's office eliminated the only evening hours they had. There's been no time since we got FSIL's paperwork to get there.

I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Wow, after all these days of following your blog, you're down to single digits. And FSIL has an airline ticket and everything. This event is really happening! :)

Too bad they won't share an anniversary with Elizabeth and Anthony.

Getting close!

Is someone going to ask BD if she is sure she still wants this?

So many divorcees say they knew a week before that it wasn't right and that they didn't know how to get out of it.

Pealette told me not to ask her, as she was sure.
