Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba

#1 Post by sunflower » Wed Jul 30, 2008 12:25 pm

Does anyone know of a good site or place to buy discounted La Nouba tickets (Orlando)?

I think I mentioned I'm heading down there in August. I want to surprise my boyfriend with tickets. He'll kill me if I pay too much (eliminates ticket brokers). I know my way around discount Broadway or Vegas tickets, but not Orlando. Any thoughts?

(I don't have time to attend a timeshare presentation in order to get free or discounted tickets)

I looked for discounted tickets when I saw Cirque's Zumanity in Vegas a couple of years ago....never found any, and ended up just booking on Cirque's website.

I thought this was discussed recently, with the answer that they don't discount tickets in Orlando. It's the only show in town, unlike the many shows playing on Broadway or in Las Vegas.

We went several years ago, maybe soon after they opened, for $65 a pop. It's worth that, easily. In Vegas that would run $90 without question.

Just checked their listings- they have the $65 seats but they also have some for $52, which probably sell out first. Unless you are in a splash zone, it doesn't matter where you sit for most Cirque shows.

This is a wonderful show! I would advise anyone wanting to see it to get seats in the front section of the theatre if possible. The intensity on the faces of the performers and the close proximity of the action is IMO well worth the higher price. Wait til you see the 4 kids do their juggling act-the showstopper of showstoppers!

After seeing such great human physical achievement up close, I decided that I would get back in the gym!!! (Tough to go out for dessert after watching this show! :))
