$3.56

#1 Post by Tocqueville3 » Mon Jul 28, 2008 7:23 am

That's how much gas is here at the Exxon station near my house. Fill-er-up, dude.

I am peeved at 1800flowers.com. My mom is keeping my girls this week so that I can finish packing without Olivia and Samantha "helping" me. So I wanted to send my mom a nice bouquet. I placed my order on Thursday with a delivery date of Friday. They dint get delivered on Friday or Saturday. Hmmm...After playing e-mail I called 1800flowers and fussed a bit. Not too much but enough to let them know I am slightly peeved. Grrrr.

Thursday is the big move day. We close on this house and our new house all in the same day. Whew.

Is it Rosenburg or Rosenberg?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

They will refund your delivery charge if you ask them to, since they weren't delivered on time. They don't advertise that, but I've always been able to get it refunded, unless they communicate the delay to you in a timely manner.

$3.47 yesterday just over the line in KY. And I had just filled up in TN at $3.77, and thought I was going pretty good.

I did stop on the way back and squeezed about 8 gallons into the tank.

3.75 yesterday in Cumberland MD. Mostly still 3.89 around here, but that's down from about 3.99/3.99 a week ago.

I *still* have managed to avoid paying $4 (yet!)

The only time I have paid $4 for gas was when we were in Baton Rouge over Memorial day weekend. Today, when I passed by said Exxon station it was $3.51. Woohoo!

I saw gas for $4.19 today. I still have a 1/4 of a tank, so I am hoping that the price drops before I fill up again.
