Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 19

#1 Post by gsabc » Tue Jul 22, 2008 10:04 am

Details, details, details ...

Wedding programs, mentioned in another thread. Can't do them until the full wedding party is set. Still don't know if one of FSIL's Army buddies is coming. If so, he's the best man. If not, FSIL's dad is.

No idea if FSIL has made his plane reservation yet. Just because the leave is approved doesn't mean you can get to where you need to go. Let us know when you're getting in, bud, the sooner the better for your FMIL's state of mind.

GW is getting more stressed by the minute. I will be walking on eggshells for the next three weeks. Even little stuff is setting her off. I wonder if I can slip some Valium into her lunch when I make it in the morning ... Nah, won't help. I'm gonna get yelled at no matter what.

I thought I had told GW about some e-mails concerning wedding guests. There was no new or surprising information in them, but she wanted confirmation on a few people. Apparently I didn't tell her, or she didn't look at them when I had them open on the screen for her to read. I will follow my Law of Long, Successful Marriages: "Yes, dear."

Looks like two trips to HS's house that last week. One to get his tux (GW is stressing that they'll screw it up), then one to pick up him and his GF the day before to stay at our house that night. Too much going on with other visitors to have them stay at the house before that. Although that will make for a lot of driving for me that day, since we have to get them to the rehearsal, too.

Our first physical meeting with MotG will be the Thursday before. She and FSIL's sister and cousin will be at the house to make the boutonieres (sp? Too lazy to check.). Don't know when we'll meet FotG. They are divorced, arriving and staying separately, and I have no idea on his schedule. We'll all be together at the rehearsal, at the latest.

Next life - all sons. Definitely.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Good luck with that.

I'm in that boat, thank goodness!
